E & O Long-Term Care Insurance Professionals

As a Benefit of Membership members of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance can obtain professional liability insurance protection for agents who sell LTC, life and health insurance products.

This policy provides professional liability coverage for any actual or alleged act, error or omission committed solely in the performance of or failure to perform professional services or a claim for libel, slander or invasion of privacy. Professional services are those services performed for a fee in your activities as a LTCi, life, accident and health insurance agent. This policy is written on a claims-made and reported basis.

DISCOUNTED RATES FOR ASSOCIATION MEMBERS

The charts below are reflective of the current premium levels for Association members as well as the RPG (Risk Purchasing Group) Fee. This fee covers State Premium Taxes and other fixed charges associated with your policy.

All applications are individually underwritten prior to quoting an actual premium for your specific coverage. To apply for coverage you will need to complete an online application.

IF YOU SELECT 6-MONTH COVERAGE

If you select the 6 MONTH option and have been free of claims for three years, do not sell or service P&C products or products that require a Series 6, 7 or 63 license, these are generally reflective of the current rates.

COVERAGE IS AVAILABLE FOR ALL QUALIFYING APPLICANTS

Association members can apply for coverage subject to underwriting approval. Different premiums based on your particular application will apply. Coverage is available for:

Agents with Series 6, 7 or 63 license

Agents generating up to $1,000,000 in net income annually

Agents with limited claim activity
Please note, applicants completing the online application will receive a response within three (3) to five (5) business days.

Producers who join AALTCI specifically to apply for E&O and are denied coverage can request a refund of membership dues within 30 days of joining less a $20 processing fee.
